Ivan Juric feels Sunday’s victory over Napoli was not Torino‘s best game in his tenure and insists he has ‘no requests’ for President Urbano Cairo.

The Granata humiliated defending Serie A champions Napoli at the Stadio Grande Torino on Sunday, securing a 3-0 victory.

“It’s not the greatest win, there have been many others,” Juric told DAZN.

“With the red card, it all became easier, but we played a good game and must continue like this. The guys must believe in themselves. We must think about the next game. Genoa have an incredible spirit.”

Juric’s contract expires in June and with the January transfer window ongoing, DAZN pundit Ciro Ferrara joked that Juric could ask any new signing to President Cairo.

“The President is our first fan, but I have no requests for him,” the Croatian tactician replied.

“We must be ambitious, we have been doing well for a while, losing some games undeservedly. We must give our all to remain close to the top sides. Hopefully, there will be no injuries or other problems.

“We have decided to play with two strikers. We are enjoying it, and I feel we are more dangerous than we used to be,” continued Juric.

“We have many midfielders who attack, and I am happy.”

Torino sit tenth in the Serie A table and are just one point below Napoli following Sunday’s win.
