Transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano claims Tottenham Hotspur are ‘advancing to final stages of the negotiations’ for Genoa defender Radu Dragusin, while Sky Sport Italia reports Spurs are ready to offer €25m plus bonuses.

The Romania international has emerged as one of Tottenham’s main targets in the winter transfer window.

Multiple reports claim Il Girfone value the former Juventus centre-back at €30m, and, according to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs are ready to make a formal offer.

As per Sky Sport Italia, the Premier League side will bid €25m plus add-ons.

Romano claims the Premier League side had new positive talks with Genoa today so the deal is advancing to the final stages.

Dragusin played 90 minutes in Genoa’s 1-1 draw against Bologna on Friday night.

The 21-year-old has scored twice in 22 appearances across all competitions this season.

Napoli are also interested in Dragusin but seem unwilling to match Genoa’s asking price. According to Sky Sport Italia, the defending Serie A champions have offered €20m plus former Rossoblu defender Leo Ostigard.

Genoa coach Gilardino has refused to rule out Dragusin’s January exit saying that ‘anything can happen’ in the market.
