Juan Jesus says Roma “work every day to be the anti-Juventus”, and notes “a lot of teams play badly and still win…”

The Giallorossi are seven points behind the Bianconeri at the top of Serie A, but the Brazilian believes he and his teammates can still win the Scudetto.

“We work every day to be the anti-Juve,” Jesus told Roma TV.

“We have to think about working well though, we can emerge with satisfaction because the team is very strong both tactically and technically.

“We’ve also lacked a bit of luck. A lot of teams play badly and still win, but we’re thinking about ourselves.

“We have Pescara next, then some difficult games. We’ll definitely be focused to win them all.”

The Giallorossi made it to the next round of the Europa League last night, and the defender says they want to go far in the competition.

“We prepared for the game really well, it’s always important for the Italians to get through.

“We have to think of Roma and doing well, this competition counts for a lot, now we have to keep doing what we’re doing.”
