Striker Juan Iturbe says that Roma's current hardships are not a good reason to give up hope for the Scudetto.

The Paraguayan is slowly returning to first-team action with strong performances coming off the bench against Feyenoord as well as Juventus.

His team's odds of winning the Scudetto are all but buried under a nine-point difference with Juventus, but Iturbe sees no reason to let go.

“We are a strong team and we have to keep believing,” he said to Gazzetta TV.

“We are a strong team and we have to keep believing,” he said to Gazzetta TV.

“We always take to the pitch to win the games. We're compact and we have an immense drive to play well.

“Of course, I'll agree that Roma right now are not doing that.

“But we'll pick up on our game in the future because we have players who can be decisive.

“I couldn't say how I'd rate my season, but my injuries certainly deserve an A+ for effort!” he joked.

“But I think that when I'll be able to play more with my teammates I'll do well.

“As for [Palermo striker Paulo] Dybala, he is strong, we'll see where he ends up next year.”
