The Azzurri failed to reach next summer’s World Cup, but nonetheless still rose one place to 14th in the previous set of rankings.
Given that those were published at the end of November and there have been no major international matches since then, the top sides haven’t moved.
That means Italy remain 14th, with Germany top ahead of Brazil, Portugal and Argentina.

The Democratic Republic of Congo are the highest ranked team to actually move positions, falling three places to 39th and allowing Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Australia to move above them.
Nicaragua fell by the highest number of places, slipping 13 places to 119th, while Vanuatu were the best movers as they climbed 28 places to 157th.
Since the last set of rankings, the South Pacific nation beat New Caledonia, Tongo and the Solomon Islands in friendlies, as well as drawing with Fiji.
