Mario Balotelli is not expected to be called-up, while Milan’s Patrick Cutrone will remain with the Under-21s.

Andrea Belotti and Leonardo Pavoletti are vying for one of the spaces up-front, while it’s not clear if Juventus’ Federico Bernardeschi will be fit to play.

His Bianconeri teammate Mattia De Sciglio is expected to return to the squad.

Brescia youngster Sandro Tonali has been linked with a call-up, but he may come in after the Portugal game.
