Former Juventus striker David Trezeguet warns Italy vs France “is never a friendly”.
The forward had mixed fortunes against the Azzurri during his playing career, scoring the winner in the Euro 2000 final, but missing a penalty in the World Cup final in 2006.
“This match is never a friendly,” Trezeguet told Corriere della Sera.
“There’s a great rivalry, but also a lot of respect. I predict a draw: this will be a dress rehearsal ahead of the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
