Italy again used the 4-4-2 formation in today’s training session ahead of Friday’s friendly against Belgium.

The Azzurri have consistently used the same basic line-up this week in preparation for the international test in Brussels.

Once again, Eder and Graziano Pellè form the attack with Antonio Candreva and Alessandro Florenzi on the flanks.

This makes it a very attack-minded 4-4-2 that Antonio Conte has referred to as 4-2-4 instead.

Juventus pair Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci stick together in defence with Matteo Darmian of Manchester United and Milan’s Mattia De Sciglio as full-backs.
