Italy internationals Alessandro Florenzi, Marco Verratti and Moise Kean are celebrating after winning the French Supercup with Paris Saint-Germain.

While Verratti has a packed trophy cabinet from his time at the club, this was the first taste of silverware for former Roma full-back Florenzi.

While Verratti has a packed trophy cabinet from his time at the club, this was the first taste of silverware for former Roma full-back Florenzi.

PSG’s social media accounts used that fact to mock rivals Olympique Marseille, who were beaten 2-1 in the Final last night.

The caption on the photograph of Florenzi being thrown by his teammates was a reference to Marseille star Dimitri Payet, who is still without a single trophy in 15 years of his career.

“A first trophy for… Alessandro Florenzi, who can now fill his cabinet, unlike others…”

Florenzi joined PSG on loan with option to buy in September 2020, while Kean is on a dry loan from Everton.

The veteran already has two goals in 19 competitive games for the French champions this season.

Teenage hitman Kean made a huge impression with 11 goals in just 19 games for Paris Saint-Germain.
