The 23-year-old Cameroon international landed at the airport this morning and had his medical, ready to complete a loan move with option to buy at the end of the season.
“I am happy and very excited to be here at an historic club like Genoa,” Onguene told Sky Sport Italia.

“I am happy and very excited to be here at an historic club like Genoa,” Onguene told Sky Sport Italia.
“I can’t wait to start this new experience. I’ll go and have my medical, hopefully it will all go well, and then I’ll have the first training session.
“I chose Genoa because it’s a big club here in Italy and I’ve heard a lot said about them.”
Genoa are the oldest football club in Italy, but are currently floundering in the relegation zone.
