Jurgen Klopp was furious with an Italian journalist who asked him his thoughts on Naples’ safety: ‘It’s an embarrassing question, I am not here for your headlines.’
Liverpool fans were advised not to wear team colours when travelling to Naples for tonight’s Champions League clash between the Reds and Napoli.
“We strongly recommend you avoid the city centre. If you chose to visit, please beware that you may be targeted for theft, robbery, or assault,” the Reds said on Twitter, receiving plenty of adverse reactions from Italy.
When an Italian journalist asked Klopp whether he would reassure Liverpool fans of the city’s safety, the German tactician didn’t look pleased.
