Edin Dzeko is expected to replace Romelu Lukaku in Inter‘s attack against Bayern Munich, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan could start in place of Nicolò Barella.

It kicks off at 20.00 UK time at the Stadio Meazza.

The Nerazzurri seek reaction after Saturday’s 3-2 loss in the derby della Madonnina against Milan. Lukaku is out of action for two more weeks, so Dzeko will replace him up front.

Robin Gosens should start on the left, while Mkhitaryan could be picked over Nicolò Barella in central midfield.

André Onana is waiting for his Inter debut, but Samir Handanovic is still the favourite between the sticks.

Simone Inzaghi said yesterday that tonight’s meeting with the Bundesliga giants is ‘an opportunity’ for Inter to show their worth after two defeats in the last three Serie A games, against Lazio and Milan.

Bayern can rely on full squad and will start ex-Liverpool star Sadio Mané up front with Kingsley Coman, Thomas Muller and Serge Gnabry behind him.

UPDATE: According to Tuttomercatoweb, Onana will start in goal for Inter tonight.

  1. Huge challenge for Inter. Bayern should be too good for them, but Inter need to be getting 6 points from Plzen and then enough from the other 4 games. They’d take a point here.
