“I have a few tired players, tomorrow morning there’s a training session and I’ll choose my line-up based on the needs of the squad,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“I have a group of players who can vary the shape depending on who is available. What counts most of all is the interpretation.

“This is a very important match, as the table is tight and we’re up against a side that will feel wounded after their Coppa Italia elimination to Juventus. We know what we’re getting into and require great maturity against the winner of the Coach of the Year award.

“We want to continue this remarkable campaign. There are nine games to go (including the Coppa Italia Final with Juventus) and every one is difficulty.

“De Vrij and Federico Marchetti are certainly out. Lucas Biglia, Ciro Immobile, Senad Lulic and Cristiano Lombardi are not 100 per cent fit, but I hope to have all of them at least on the bench.”

This has been an extraordinary week already for the Biancocelesti, who saw off local rivals Roma to reach the Coppa Italia Final.

“We knew that we’d do something important. Beating Roma was a huge achievement and it was only right we celebrate with our fans. The lads deserved that and so did the supporters.

“Against Napoli we need the same humility and determination that we had over the two semi-finals against Roma. Now we are going up against the team that plays some of the best football in Europe and we’ll try not to be unprepared.”
