“This is an important moment of the season, as we have three very big games coming up against Cagliari, Dynamo Kiev and Bologna,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

It has been a dismal week for the Biancocelesti, who lost at the last minute to Juventus, went out of the Coppa Italia semi-final to Milan on penalties and were pegged back 2-2 by Dynamo Kiev in Thursday’s Europa League tie.

“We had a very positive first half against Dynamo and should’ve done more after the break. We had played well throughout against Milan and Juve, but the results haven’t gone our way.

“Nonetheless, nobody saw us doing this week when the season began and I am happy to know that if Lazio don’t win for three games, it is big news.

“Our minds must turn to Cagliari, as we need a strong performance against a team in good shape. Cagliari had more time than we did to prepare the game and we must all give 120 per cent in order to get a positive result.”

Adam Marusic is suspended with Martin Caceres injured, while Senad Lulic is suffering from flu, but Inzaghi hinted at a few changes.

“Marco Parolo and Luis Alberto will certainly play tomorrow, as they rested on Thursday. At this moment, we can’t use Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Luis Alberto and Felipe Anderson together, as we lose our balance and that is my decision.”

Stefan de Vrij was called in by the FIGC Prosecutor for irregularities in his doping test paperwork, but has successfully appealed for a postponement.

“It was just an issue of red take that will be resolved without any punishment,” assured Inzaghi.
