Inter boss Simone Inzaghi has three major doubts ahead of next week’s Champions League Final against Manchester City, including Milan Skriniar who has returned to group training today.

Skriniar has been dealing with a Lumbar Vertebra fracture and made his last appearance with the Nerazzurri on March 14 in a Champions League clash against Porto. He has refused to sign a contract extension with the Serie A giants and will join PSG on a free transfer in June.

Sky Sport Italia’s Inter correspondent Matteo Barzaghi says the Slovakia international returned to group training on Wednesday and will be available against Manchester City on June 10.

However, Simone Inzaghi seems intentioned to confirm a three-man defence with Matteo Darmian, Francesco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni.

The biggest doubt seems to be in attack. Edin Dzeko has been a regular starter in knock-out games this term, but Lukaku has been on fire lately scoring seven goals in the last six Serie A appearances.

The other doubt is in the middle of the park with Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Marcelo Brozovic in contention for a starting spot alongside Nicolò Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu. Mkhitaryan is currently out of action due to a muscular injury but will return to group training on Monday and is expected to be fit for the Final against Manchester City.
