Arturo Vidal is ready to make the move over to Flamengo and Inter are preparing to say goodbye.
The 34-year-old Chilean midfielder has never hidden his desire to join the Brazilian side, making it clear over the last few months by posting a photo of himself in a Flamengo shirt on Instagram and changing his Tiktok profile picture to one of him wearing a Flamengo shirt as well.
As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Vidal is counting the days until he can leave Inter in the summer in order to join Flamengo, ending his stay in Milan a year early. The Nerazzurri are happy for him to go as it would save them a €9.5m net salary, a big weight lifted off the budget.
In addition, Vidal’s contract contains a clause that would allow the Milanese club to unilaterally terminate the agreement in July by paying €4m to the 34-year-old. This seems to be a solution that would suit everyone, allowing the Chilean midfielder to join Flamengo and saving up space on their wage bill.
