The player’s entourage is reported to have requested a higher salary and a meeting is expected to take place in the coming weeks.

Bastoni, however, is a long-time Inter fan and his desire is to stay at the club.

He joined the Nerazzurri from Atalanta in 2017 for €31m. He has five appearances in all competitions with Inter so far this season.
