The club confirmed there are a few cases of Covid among the team group but refused to revel which players have caught the virus.

The likes of Ciro Immobile, Manuel Lazzari, Luis Alberto and Djavan Anderson didn’t join the travel with the team in Belgium but are not reported to be injured.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the whole team will undergo a new round of swabs today as the Serie A protocol tells the players to be checked 48 hours before a league game.

Lazio hope those who had tested positive will turn out being negative as it happened with Achraf Hakimi last week.

The Inter defender tested positive before the Nerazzurri’s Champions League clash against Borussia Monchengladbach but that appeared to be a false positivity as the swab test he did before Genoa-Inter came back negative.

As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lazio’s upcoming Serie A clash against Torino is unlikely to be postponed as the protocol states a team can play a game provided they have 13 players available and less than 10 cases of Covid.

Danilo Cataldi, Luiz Felipe, Lucas Leiva, Gonzalo Escalante, Stefan Radu, Thomas Strakosha and Senad Lulic are injured while Nicolò Armini has a fever.
