Gleison Bremer is one of Inter’s top targets for the summer but they’ll have to sell a first team player in order to pick him up.

The 25-year-old Brazilian defender is one of the best in Serie A, impressing with his defensive solidity despite the fact that he’s not in a top team. Torino currently value the centre back at around €30m, a hefty sum.

As highlighted by TuttoMercatoWeb, Inter have a strategy in the race to pick up Bremer; they plan to sell one of Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni in order to make space for the Brazilian centre back.

It’s unlikely that Bastoni will be the player sold due to his long contract, young age and massive potential. An incredible offer would be needed to convince the Nerazzurri.

Skriniar and De Vrij, on the other hand, are significantly more affordable as both their contracts expire in 2023. The Slovakian said no to Tottenham in January and the Dutchman turned down Newcastle, but a move to England could return to the table again.

It’s still too early to say which player will be sold to make space for Bremer, but it’s clear that Inter need to consider all their options before pulling the trigger in the summer.

  1. Bastoni Is a very mediocre player in both Inter and national team, making many mistakes in critical games. Never heard any top clubs want him.

  2. Tom, Andy and everyone else watched was how in the Nations League semi final against Spain Bastoni made a mistake that cost Italy the first goal, and we watched again against Nth Macedonia where Bastoni was easily beaten in the air from the NM goalkick for the ball to go to Trajkovski who scored. Bastoni still needs to eat a lot more pasta regardless of what he does for inter.

  3. @Frankie… In his age he is much better than that Mr Pasta eater (Bonucci) who has been a liability forever. And who else you haven’t blamed for the defeat? Every single article you blame the player… Hey you forgot to blame Erikseen, there was an article about him too.
Typical Italian mentality, blame anything but not your beloved team players ha?

Eating pasta hasn’t been good for your brain so far. Grow up.
