Juventus defender Joao Cancelo says Inter “have remained in my heart” after his loan spell there last year.
The full-back was on loan with the Nerazzurri from Valencia, but they couldn’t afford to pay his buyout clause before June 30.
Juve took advantage of that to sign the Portuguese in a €40m deal, and he provided the assist for the winner in the Derby d’Italia last night.
“Tonight was an important victory,” Cancelo told Sky after the final whistle.
