Inter have declared themselves ‘fully supportive’ of Financial Fair Play, but are still committed to strengthening the squad.

The Nerazzurri, along with Roma, have been sanctioned by UEFA for failing to meet targets set out by the fair play rules, which seek to limit losses.

“Inter has worked closely with UEFA's Club Financial Control Body over the last several months to reach this Settlement Agreement,” CEO Michael Bolingbroke said in a statement.

“From our president Erick Thohir downwards, we all want Inter to return to winning trophies as soon as possible, and I guarantee that we will do everything in our power to make it happen.

“Inter deserves the best, and we will continue to work towards ensuring that [Coach] Roberto Mancini can have the highest quality and most competitive team on the pitch.”
