Romelu Lukaku will reportedly undergo new medical examinations tomorrow and Inter hope he will be available against Udinese on Sunday.

The Nerazzurri star missed the last four games against Cremonese, Milan, Bayern and Torino due to a muscle issue and was expected to return to action after the break.

According to Gazzetta, the striker will be assessed again tomorrow when he will undergo new medical examinations.

Lukaku has been following a recovery plan in Belgium, where he has worked with Lieven Maesschalck. The physiotherapist provided an update to Inter doctors yesterday, reports Gazzetta.

Lukaku is in a hurry to play and help the team, but according to the pink paper, chances to see him available against Udinese on Sunday are ‘below 50%.’

However, a lot will depend on tomorrow’s exams. Whether Lukaku is available or not, Inter hope the 29-year-old won’t be called up for Belgium’s Nations League fixtures against Wales and The Netherlands during the international break.
