Inter are reportedly pushing to sign both Patrik Schick and Keita Baldé Diao in the coming days.

The Nerazzurri have been quiet on the transfer market so far, with technical director Walter Sabatini admitting they’re going after difficult targets.

They have been increasingly linked with Schick since his move to Juventus collapsed, and Gazzetta dello Sport says a deal is in place with Sampdoria.

It would involve the same arrangement as Juve had, €30m payable over three years.

Schick has been offered a five-year contract worth €1.8m per season, but he needs 30-40 days of rest after his medical with the Bianconeri flagged-up a cardiac issue.

The newspaper reports that his agent, Pavel Paska, is in Prague today to evaluate the offer, as well as other possibilities such as Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund.

Inter are also close to a deal for Keita Baldé Diao, despite rumoured interest from Juve, and would be willing to pay €20m plus bonuses.

The forward has been left out by Lazio, and with his contract expiring at the end of the coming season there shouldn’t be too much of a gap to bridge.

Finally, it appears the Nerazzurri are about to pay the €24m release clause of Fiorentina’s Matias Vecino, paying the fee over two years.
