Inter will consider a possible contract renewal for Stefan de Vrij once the Marcelo Brozovic situation has been settled.
The 30-year-old Dutch centre back is having a difficult season, with his latest mistake coming in the 2-1 derby loss to Milan, allowing Olivier Giroud to score the winning goal. He also scored an own goal in the first leg.
As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Inter will make a decision regarding De Vrij’s contract starting from next month, once they’ve secured the future of Marcelo Brozovic. His current deal expires in 2023 and his agent Mino Raiola has promised the club that the Dutch defender won’t look to leave on a free transfer next year.
There is interest from the Premier League in de Vrij, something that Raiola explored last month, and the Nerazzurri are prepared with a possible replacement should the Dutchman leave in the summer. This player is Gleison Bremer, and talks have already been opened despite the competition from intercity rivals Milan.

They should give him a contract extension soon or he will negotiate with another team and lose the scudetto or UCL spot for Inter on the last game of the season. Ask Lazio.
Let him go, and also Handanovic and Vidal and Vecino.
