According to Il Fatto Quotidiano, the Anti-Mafia Commission in Milan heard two Inter directors regarding links between members of the Curva Nord and organised crime.

The Anti-Mafia Commission heard lawyer Adriano Raffaelli, president of Inter’s supervisory board, and the club’s security manager Gianluca Cameruccio in Milan on Friday, reports Il Fatto Quotidiano.

No Inter representatives are under investigation, but the Italian newspaper claims it was the first time such a commission heard representatives of a Serie A club.

According to the report, Inter directors faced questions about representatives of the Curva Nord Milano and their links with the ‘ndrangheta Mafia, especially after Antonio Bellocco, already convicted in a Mafia trial in Italy, was named among the new leaders of the Curva Nord this past January.

Il Fatto Quotidiano claims the Commission also wanted to clarify the club’s relationship with the Curva Nord and the business activities around the stadium before matchdays, including car parking and food stalls.
