Those returning from their respective national teams have all tested negative and given Conte good news as he prepares for tomorrow’s match.

Alexis Sanchez is still uncertain, as he suffers from muscle fatigue from his trip with Chile, but SportMediaset claims he should soon be 100 per cent.

But Conte stressed in the pre-match press conference that the Nerazzurri are preparing for a tough run of fixtures, with games every three to four days, and he will not be ready to risk losing Sanchez through a more serious injury.

In midfield, Marcelo Brozovic fights Christian Eriksen for a place in the starting line-up, but the one who doesn’t start against Milan is expected to get a chance to impress against Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Champions League on Wednesday next week.

The good news from the international stars, Conte could start with Nicolò Barella and Arturo Vidal in the middle and Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku up front, as Sanchez seems set for a place on the bench.
