According to Sky Sport Italia, the meeting between Inter and Aarhus defender Yann Aurel Bisseck was positive, so a deal can be done for €7m.

The 22-year-old centre-back has a release clause in his contract set at €7m.

It is suggested the Nerazzurri are prepared to pay it, if they can get his current club to accept instalments over a two-year period.

His agent agreed basic personal terms and is eager to make the move work.

Bisseck is extremely tall at 1.96m, which is also reflected in his tally of five goals and three assists this season for the Danish team.

He has plenty of international experience at clubs in his home country of Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal and Denmark.

Inter need a defender to replace Milan Skriniar, who is set to join Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent this summer.

Stefan de Vrij should pen a new deal, while they are trying to negotiate a discount with Lazio for Francesco Acerbi after his loan spell.
