Coach Roberto Mancini says Inter must always aim for the top, but admits “we’re not perfect”.

The Nerazzurri have taken 12 points from their opening four Serie A fixtures, but the former Manchester City manager says there’s still improvements to be made.

“We’ve signed both young and experienced players,” Mancini explained in his Press conference ahead of the Verona match.

“We’ve worked well, but like every team we’re not perfect, we have problems and gaps and we have to work.

“We’re Inter, we always have to look for the maximum. We were hoping for a good start, it’s important because it gives us motivation and lets us know what we can do.

“But to get to the end, we have to work hard and do more.”

The Beneamata have taken maximum points, but have been criticised for their style of play in the matches so far.

“I respect everyone’s opinion, but I hear too often that we’ve won without deserving it. In the end you just have to win, that’s all there is for a top team.

“Whoever is top at the table at the end has been the best team.

“Formation changes? We are Coaches, and we have our reasons. You are journalists, and you give your assessments.

“We chose this job, and we try to do our best, just like you.”
