Roberto Mancini warns “nothing changes” for Inter, despite a perfect start to the Serie A season.

The Nerazzurri have won all of their first four games, leading to talk of a Scudetto challenge, but the Coach is keen to play down expectations.

“Nothing changes because of this start to the season,” Mancini said in his Press conference ahead of the Verona match.

“The team has to grow and work. Of course, this allows us to work more calmly. There are no matches which can be written off, we went to Carpi and it was hard, we were on a par with Chievo.

“The only match where everything seemed normal was the Derby [against Milan], because the assumption there is that you’ll give 100 per cent.

“You have to give your all in every game though, Verona have shown they’re solid, and they won’t give us a lot of space.

“Are Inter boring? They also said that at [Manchester] City, I hope the situation will be the same at the end [City won the title].”

Ivan Perisic attracted some criticism after the win over Chievo, for not squaring the ball for Mauro Icardi when in a scoring situation.

“He’s playing the role we signed him for, but there are still some situations he’s not used to. He’s been working with us for 10 days, we can’t change every aspect of the tactics now.

“He plays well on the wing, and he’ll be very important for us.”
