Trevoh Chalobah, who has been wanted by both Inter and Milan in recent months, has signed a new long-term contract with Chelsea.

The 23-year-old Englishman seemed like a strong transfer market opportunity in the summer and both Milanese clubs emerged to explore a deal for the defender, who ultimately remained with Chelsea. Both Inter and Milan continued following Chalobah this season ahead of a possible move in the coming months.

As announced today, Chalobah has signed a new six-year contract with Chelsea, tying him to the club until June 2028, with an option to push this back to 2029.

The move essentially forces both the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri to look elsewhere for a new defender, with the Englishman clearly locked down in West London.

Inter are searching for possible replacements for Milan Skriniar, who could be sold to Paris Saint-Germain in January, whilst Milan are always on the hunt for exciting transfer market opportunities.
