Gokhan Inler’s agent says that his client did not want to consider offers from elsewhere in the summer, but is elusive on the midfielder’s future at Napoli.
The 30-year-old is into a fourth season with the Vesuviani and his representative has today discussed the player’s potential to extend that stay further.
“Gokhan is very content, whilst he would like to win the Scudetto with the club,” Dino Lamberti has told Radio Crc.

“Gokhan is very content, whilst he would like to win the Scudetto with the club,” Dino Lamberti has told Radio Crc.
“I always say that the emotion you can experience at the San Paolo cannot be bought and this is why we want to see great success.
“He still has a year-and-a-half on his contract, but we will decide alone, we must also take into account the will of the club.
“Could Inler leave in January? The clubs that were interested in him this summer have purchased other players who are doing well.
“Inler did not want to leave Napoli in June, he was happy to stay. However, I must also do my job and it takes two parties to make a decision.
“Inler is the captain of the Swiss national team and if Napoli decide they do not want him anymore, we will find another solution.”
Inler’s agent also considered the weekend draw with Cagliari.
“I will not get into the Coach, I do not know how Benitez deploys his players. I can say that Gokhan was not happy after the game against Cagliari and he was not alone.
“But, apart from the individual mistakes, Napoli are a team that wins and loses together, as a collective.”
