Andres Iniesta saw Barcelona’s 1-1 draw with Milan as “a good point” for both clubs in Champions League Group H.

“Milan put in a great defensive performance, making it difficult for our style of play,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“We had a few chances to make the difference, but at the end of the day this is a good point. We’re in a good position in the table and look forward to the second match on home turf.”

Barça lead with seven points, followed by Milan on five and Celtic three. Ajax have one point.

“I expected Milan to stay close and when we attacked with many players we couldn’t find space. We still tried to win the game and a point each is a good result.”

Iniesta was asked whether Barcelona had changed much in recent years from Pep Guardiola to Tito Villanova and now Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino.

“I don’t think much has changed. The foundations and essence of the football remain the same. Every Coach has his method and tries to bring us his ideas, but the principle characteristics are the same.”
