Sandro Tonali’s heatmap during Milan‘s 3-1 win at Verona which restored the Rossoneri’s two-point lead over Inter at the top of Serie A emphasised just how important he has been this campaign.
The 22-year-old scored a last-minute winner in their 2-1 victory at Lazio last month and on Sunday scored twice to turn around their clash with Verona.
On top of his brace, he was all over the pitch during the clash at the Bentegodi, helping his team in attack as well as defence.
Milan legend Demetrio Albertini has even compared Tonali to former Italy midfielder Antonio Conte.
