Juventus have announced that new signing Gleison Bremer will don the No. 3 shirt, liberated by the departure of Giorgio Chiellini.

Chiellini had worn the No. 3 in each of his 17 seasons with the Bianconeri, first using it during his maiden season in 2005-06.

Bremer, who had been linked with a move to Inter for much of the summer transfer window, was confirmed as Juve player on Wednesday.

The Brazilian also wore 3 at Torino

  1. Filling the number 3 void is going to be a big responsibility. Hope Bremer can live up to expectations. Feeling excited for the season to start. Juve need to win the first 6-7 games to set the tempo for the season. We cannot afford to drop more than 3 points and play catchup all season.

  2. Great signing, if Juve start well it could be a vintage season. It needed a big man to replace the mighty Giorgio and he could be the right man.
