According to The Sun, Chelsea have ‘lost patience’ with former Juventus attacker Alvaro Morata and Icardi ‘tops their shopping list’.

The newspaper explains Maurizio Sarri’s side are ready to ‘splash out’ on a forward midseason to boost their chances of silverware.

However, it concedes a deal for the Inter captain will be difficult to pull off, given the Blues ‘have been quoted €102m’ for his signature.

Consequently, Chelsea would switch their attentions to Cutrone, who is similarly capable of ‘taking the goalscoring burden off Eden Hazard’.

The Sun describes the 20-year-old as ‘one of the rising stars in Italian football’, although he only extended his contract with Milan last week.
