After the Coppa Italia game Icardi sent a tweet snapping at “people who still say this team has no balls.” As it was Inter director Piero Ausilio who used that exact phrase before the match, was the message aimed at him?
“It was aimed at everyone. The papers claimed I was criticising Ausilio and stirred up trouble. Every time people told us to show some balls, this was my response.
“I’ve always said I want to do big things here and stay here for a long time. Today we created many chances and could’ve had a few more goals.”
