Zlatan Ibrahimovic reportedly has every intention of taking part in Milan’s training camp in Dubai next month.

The 41-year-old Swedish forward has not played a single minute of action this season after undergoing a knee operation back in May. Ibrahimovic played a key role in Milan’s Scudetto success last season, being a reference figure for the squad on and off the pitch, and he’s remained close to the team this campaign.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Ibrahimovic’s recovery is going well and he plans to join the Milan squad in their training camp in Dubai next month, which is scheduled to be held from December 11 to 20.

It’ll be an important opportunity for the Swedish veteran to continue building up his match fitness as he works to reach full fitness. Ibrahimovic is hoping to return to the pitch in January, allowing him to be ready for the Champions League clashes with Tottenham the following month.

Last season, Ibrahimovic scored eight goals and provided three assists in 23 Serie A appearances.
