Gazzetta Dello Sport

  • Milan and Roma are interested in Lyon’s midfielder Houssem Aouar whose contract expires in June 2023. The members of his entourage are the same who finalised Sergino Dest’s loan move from Barcelona in the summer.
  • Inter have set their sights on Valencia’s Yunus Musah and Jesus Vazquez. The latter can join the Nerazzurri on loan with an option to buy if Robin Gosens leaves. The La Liga side value Musah circa €20m. (FULL STORY)

Corriere Dello Sport

  • Roma will extend Bryan Cristante’s contract until 2027. The Italy midfielder’s salary will rise to € 3m a year. The Giallorossi will also sit down with Stephan El Shaarawy and Nicola Zalewski.
  • Roma have an option to extend Chris Smalling’s contract for one more season, but could negotiate a new agreement with the English defender, spreading his salary onto a two-year deal. The Giallorossi also want to remove a €20m clause from Paulo Dybala’s contract, but talks won’t begin before January.
  • Roma are only considering a permanent sale for Rick Karsdorp.
  • Verona’s Ivan Ilic is a transfer target for Lazio in January and could replace Luis Alberto who is not getting regular playing time under Maurizio Sarri. Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are interested in the Spanish midfielder. Gazzetta confirms Lazio’s interest in Ilic, a product of Man City academy.

Tuttosport

  • With Juan Cuadrado and Alex Sandro likely to leave at the end of their contracts in June, Juventus have set their sights on Lyon’s full-back Malo Gusto, also wanted by Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester United. The 19-year-old is valued at €15m and his contract runs out in June 2024. Juventus will make an attempt to sign him in January.
  • Torino want at least €15m for their midfielder Sasa Lukic, linked with a move to Roma.
  • The Granata will look for a second-choice goalkeeper because Etrit Berisha wants to leave, plus a wing-back, one physical central midfielder, an attacking midfielder and a striker. Their director Davide Vagnati will scout some of the potential targets for January or the summer during the World Cup.
  • Domenico Criscito returned to Italy after a five-month spell at Toronto FC and could make a shocking comeback to Genoa in the second part of the campaign to help the Grifone gain Serie A promotion.
