“It’s a coincidence, our objective is to stay up,” Iachini told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“We’re doing better in the table now, but we still have to grow.

“The offer to coach a big team has never come, and do you know why? In football, as in life, sometimes you get stuck with labels, and they can be hard to remove.
“I’m accused of being defensive, when I launched [Mauro] Icardi, [Paulo] Dybala, [Andrea] Belotti and Eder.
“Last season I turned [Matteo] Politano into a winger capable of scoring more than 10 goals. With a small team like Empoli, I’m playing with two real strikers.
“Who else in Serie A plays with two strikers?”
