Coach Beppe Iachini says only ‘work and the right mentality’ will enable Sassuolo to turn their season around.

“You can’t change everything in three days,” Iachini, who took over in midweek, said post-match. “We will start again based on the positive things I saw.
“We had some problems in the middle of the pitch, some players were tired.
“The Viola are now bedded in, we need to insist on work and having the right mentality in order to get back to getting results.”
Iachini spent five years as a player at Fiorentina and he thanked Viola fans for welcoming him back to the Artemio Franchi.
“It’s always very nice to come back here. I can only thank the fans for the welcome they gave me.
“Maybe if we had come here in a month’s time we would have produced a better performance.”
