The Partenopei have moved 17 points clear of second-placed Lazio thanks to a 1-0 win in Turin, inspired by a late Giacomo Raspadori goal.
With seven games remaining in Serie A, so potentially 21 points still available, Napoli can already be crowned Italian champions next week, if they beat Salernitana in a derby della Campania at the Stadio Maradona on Saturday and Lazio draw or lose against Inter at San Siro on Sunday.
The Partenopei fans have been waiting to win their third Serie A title in history since 1990 when they lifted their second-ever Scudetto during the Diego Armando Maradona era.
They have earned 78 points in 31 games this season with 25 wins, three draws and three defeats.
A real shame on the entire league to allow Napoli to walk away with the season’s scudetto.
