Roma are not the only club to be happy with Nicolo Zaniolo’s transfer to Galatasaray, as Inter have been able to cash in on their future resale clause.

The Italian forward joined the Nerazzurri’s youth system in July 2017 from Virtus Entella in a deal worth around €1.8m, adding a rising talent to the club’s ranks.

He only spent 361 days in the Lombardy capital before being included in the deal with Roma that saw Radja Nainggolan join Inter, starting his four-and-a-half-year spell in the Italian capital.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Inter had a 15% future resale clause on Zaniolo following his move to Roma, which will see them earn €2.25m from Roma’s deal with Galatasaray.

The figure is based on the fixed €15m that the Turkish outfit will pay the Giallorossi and doesn’t take into account the various add-ons, worth over €10m.

Zaniolo scored 14 goals and provided nine assists in 29 appearances for the Inter Primavera squad.
