Jose Mourinho may have won the Treble with Inter, but that hasn’t stopped the Roma coach from making a dig or two at his former club.

The Portuguese coach will be returning to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza to face the Nerazzurri for the second time this season, following the 2-0 loss in the Coppa Italia back in February. The Inter fans still hold Mourinho in incredibly high regard following his Treble winning work in the 2009-10 season.

At Mourinho’s Roma unveiling press conference, he made a small dig at Inter regarding their Scudetto success and financial concerns last year, saying: “It’s easy to win and have no money to pay salaries, but we want to be sustainable and the club and I share the same view.”

Unfortunately for the former Real Madrid and Chelsea coach, it’s not been a happy reunion with Inter this season. The Nerazzurri knocked Roma out of the Coppa Italia and beat them 3-0 in Roma back in December.

A win for Mourinho’s Roma tonight would be a strong statement in their race for European qualification, but Inter are desperate to defend their Scudetto and so won’t go down easy.
