According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Inter directors and Simone Inzaghi didn’t blame their players after the defeat against Bologna but urged them to not give up until the end.

The Nerazzurri failed to leapfrog Milan on top of the Serie A table, suffering a surprising 2-1 loss against Bologna on Wednesday night. They are now two points behind their city rivals Milan, with only four games remaining.

Il Corriere dello Sport reveals the reaction of Inter directors and coach Inzaghi to the defeat at the Stadio Dall’Ara, saying that Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio refused to blame the players the following day at the Pinetina.

All the Nerazzurri were still extremely disappointed on Thursday, so Inter directors didn’t want to demoralise them even more. According to the report, they asked their players to remain focused until the end and don’t give up because the season still has a lot to say.

Inter will face Udinese (away), Empoli (home), Cagliari (away) and Sampdoria (home) in the last four games of the season in Serie A. They will also meet Juventus in the Coppa Italia Final between games against Empoli and Cagliari. Milan’s remaining fixtures are against Fiorentina (home), Verona (away), Atalanta (home) and Sassuolo (away).
