Keisuke Honda has admitted that the Milan fans ‘expect a lot’, but the Japan international has insisted he is ready for the Rossoneri.

The former CSKA Moscow man left the Russian side for the San Siro outfit, and can officially start with Massimiliano Allegri’s team in January.

The 27-year-old though, has insisted that he is up for the challenge.

“The Milan fans expect a lot from me, and I will have to be at my best in every game,” he told Goal.com

“I used to dream about playing at San Siro as it is the stadium of a team that I watched as a kid.

"I can play in all the positions in attack: winger, trequartista or second striker. The Coach will decide where I play."

"I'm 27 so the moment has arrived for me to play in a big club and become an infinitely better player."

"I'm the type of player that immediately learns from his team-mates – even more so if there are top players at the club.”
