Reports say Keisuke Honda will discuss a new Milan contract at the end of the season, but much will depend on the coaching situation.

The Japan international has played an important role for the Rossoneri under current boss Sinisa Mihajlovic, making 25 Serie A appearances this season.

However, the Serbian’s future is in the balance and failure to win the Coppa Italia could spell the end for his tenure on the San Siro bench.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports today that Honda will meet Vice-President Adriano Galliani at the end of the season to understand the intention of the club about his current deal, which expires in 2017.

The newspaper believes that much of the number 10’s future will depend on who will be the Milan Coach next season.

However, the outlet points out that should Honda leave the club, the Rossoneri will make an important profit, having signed him on a free transfer from CSKA Moscow.
