Telelombardia's Michael Cuomo tweeted a picture of Higuain going through security at an airport in Milan before making his way on to private jet.
The Juventus-owned striker is expected in London later, where he will meet up with Chelsea for the first time, before undergoing his medical and signing on.

However, the 31-year-old would be cutting it fine as he needs to be registered by midday to be eligible for the Blues’ League Cup semi-final with Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.
