Corriere dello Sport reports Chelsea officials will meet their Juventus counterparts in Nice to tie up deals for Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani.

The Argentine forward and Italian defender have been heavily linked with the London club all summer, with new Blues boss Maurizio Sarri an admirer of both.

Higuain, who looks set to leave Turin following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, is also the subject of interest from Milan.

However, Corriere insists the 31-year-old will be turning out at Stamford Bridge rather than San Siro next season.

On their front page of this morning’s edition, the Italian daily claims Higuain is ‘closer to joining Sarri’ than he has been at any point this summer.

And Chelsea and Juve delegations will reportedly hold a meeting in the south of France tomorrow in order to iron out a deal, with a move for Rugani also on the agenda.
