Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes expects Napoli to push hard at the Allianz Arena. “They have ambition.”

The Germans have scored 33 goals and kept clean sheets in their last nine home games, while they have also won 13 of the last 16 matches in all competition.

“Napoli are not a normal Italian side,” Heynckes told uefa.com ahead of tomorrow's Champions League clash.

“I saw their last league game at Catania and they played just the same way they played against us in that 1-1 draw.

“They are very disciplined and above all very aggressive. They run a lot and that makes them difficult opponents. Their Coach rested five regulars from the starting XI so they would be fresh for this game, so that shows they have ambition.

“We have different tactical options and we don't compromise depending to our opponents. Bayern are so dominant that our opponents should set themselves to counter us.

“The most important thing is team harmony. Bayern have played great football as a team, but we also have great individuals who can decide a game. What is important for me is that the team is motivated, prepared and focused and that they go into the game at full throttle.

“We can also be patient and vary the rhythm over 90 minutes, which is something only top sides can do.”

The manager said during his Press conference that he is “assuming” both Bastian Schweinsteiger and Daniel Van Buyten will be able to start despite picking up knocks.

Arjen Robben and Breno are long-term absentees after undergoing surgery.
