The President was apparently favourably impressed. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, among the names believed to have been revealed to him there is that of Chine Fortune Land Development, the company that owns the Hebei China Fortune club in the Chinese league.
The company, which works primarily in industrial and land development, should help allay some of Berlusconi's doubts as they are rich, stable and powerful. They have already had some dealings with Serie A after they purchased Roma's Gervinho last January for €18m.
However, the dossier presented to the Italian media tycoon was not 100 per cent complete and some of the investors are still unknown.
